About Us

Our springers make terrific family companions, performance dogs or conformation dogs. They are always willing to please. We x-ray all our breeding dogs for hip-dysplasia and register the results with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). We have their eyes examined by a board certified ophthalmologist and the results with Canine Eye Foundation (CERF). Our breeding dogs are all AKC and have obtained their AKC Championships. We guarantee our puppies against inherited genetic defects.

Our puppies are raised in our home and have constant attention and lots of socialization and activity. All of our puppies are examined by a vet, vaccinated, and have had their eyes checked by an ophthalmologist before going to their new homes. In order to devote as much time that is needed to properly raise a litter, we limit our breeding to once or twice a year.

Sue Ellen is a long time member and past 12 year National Specialty chair for the English Springer Spaniel parent club, ESSFTA. She is past vice president and president of the ESSFTA, past president Eastern English Springer Spaniel Club, a regional club, and present member of the board and treasurer of EESSC. She continues to be agility chair for the EESSC and runs 12 trials a year for the club, as well as 12 Fast Cat trials. Sue Ellen is past president, past vice president and past secretary and past board member of the South Shore Kennel Club of Marshfield, MA. She is the past long-time president of the South Shore Dog Training Club of Quincy, MA.
